My love in music is improv. I'm open to playing with just about anyone.

I've had the opportunity to work with many of Toronto's leading creative and improvising musicians, Including Nick Fraser, Joe Sorbara, Colin Fisher, Colin Anthony, Paul Newman, Ken Aldcroft, Scott Thomson, Tiina Kiik, Glen Hall, Eric Chenaux, Nilan Perera, and many more. On the international level, I've been priviledged to perform with Joe McPhee, William Parker, Lori Freedman, Stephen Grew, Rainer Wiens, Wilbert de Joode, Jean Derome, Paul Dutton, Rueben Radding, Malcolm Goldstein and Anthony Braxton.

This is a group that can be as few as three, and as many as eleven. The core members are Colin Anthony (piano), Parmela Attariwala (violin), Dan Goldman (guitar), Michael Herring (bass), Cheryl O (cello), Joe Sorbara (drums, percussion), Josh van Tassel (sampler), Mitch Yolevsky (clarinet), and myself on flute. The pieces are a mix of some demanding written music and some equally demanding improvisation and structured improv.

This is a duet with myself and clarinetist Mitch Yolevsky. We play free as well as a few of my compositions

Whisper is a project with myself on flutes, and tenor sax player Colin Fisher. We play quiet improv.
